I am a Biology graduate student at the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto in Portugal since 2010.
I’ve always been interested in evolution and genetics and I recently started to participate in at research project on Parallel Evolution as an intern student under the supervision of Rui Faria at CIBIO. My project consists in the study of ecological aspects of the formation of ecotypes in L. fabalis and will be a good opportunity to consolidate my interests, gain experience and expand my knowledge on evolutionary biology. In particular, I will be studying the role of predation in shaping colour polymorphism in L. fabalis ecotypes.
